Q1 2024 Performance of Top Food & Diet Apps on Android in France

In the first quarter of 2024, the Android platform saw interesting trends among the top Food and Diet Tracking applications in France. Here's a snapshot of how these apps performed, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.

YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter experienced a decline in downloads, starting from 34K in the first week of January and falling to 12K by the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at 256K in mid-January, then saw a slight drop to 231K by the quarter's end. The app's revenue also showed a descending trend, from $48K in the first week to $28K in the last week of March.

For Foodvisor - Nutrition & Diet, downloads fluctuated, with an initial 8K in January dropping to 3K in mid-March, then slightly rising to 4K at the end of March. The app's weekly active users saw a peak of 16K in late February, but this number decreased to 13K by the close of the quarter. Revenue mirrored this pattern, beginning at $13K and ending at approximately $9K.

The WeightWatchers Program showed a downward trend in downloads and weekly active users, with downloads decreasing from 6K to 1.6K and active users dropping from 21K to 15K over the quarter. Revenue, however, saw a bit more fluctuation, peaking at $9K in mid-February before ending the quarter at around $8K.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter maintained a steady base of downloads and active users. Downloads hovered around 3K to 4K throughout the quarter, while weekly active users started at 69K and decreased slightly to 62K. Revenue saw an increase in late January at $8.6K, followed by a general decline to $7.2K by the end of March.

Lastly, Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner demonstrated strong performance with downloads beginning at 20K and maintaining over 21K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users showed significant growth, starting at 338K and reaching a peak of 402K in early March, before closing the quarter with 388K active users. Revenue saw a rise in mid-March reaching $4.4K, then a slight dip to $3.6K.
